Kate Hughes
Kate Hughes is a meditation teacher and mindset coach, and the founder of Kate Hughes Meditation. A former lawyer who suffered burnout, Kate is passionate about teaching others the skills that they need to deal with the pressures of everyday life, without having to leave their job, whilst building a successful and happy life.
Kate offers 1-1 bespoke programmes, corporate events and training, retreats, and workshops.
In her down time Kate enjoys open water swimming, plant-based eating, writing fiction and roller-skating.
Kate is joining the Harmonise line up to lead two guided meditation sessions.
Class 1 - Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative “sleep-state” meditation where the body rests as if asleep while the mind remains gently aware. In this threshold state between sleep and wakefulness, the brain enters slower waves that allow access to the subconscious mind. You’ll work with a clear intention and leave feeling deeply relaxed, rejuvenated, and reset, with 45 minutes offering benefits similar to 2–4 hours of deep sleep.

Class 2 - Breathe and Relax
Take time to tap into gentle breath work to calm the nervous system and reduce mind chatter. We will work with the breath in preparation for deep rest for the body and mind. You will be guided through a beautiful visualisation meditation to promote groundedness and stillness, and will leave feeling relaxed and restored.
